What RPG Maker is the best?

I think RPG Maker XP is the best.

To me Rpg maker 2000 will always be best.
1) I prefer the retro look to the new look of VX and XP
2) I prefer 2000's battle system to 2003's battle system
3) 2000 is easy to use - maybe not as easy as VX, but see reason 1

and also plus, 2000 was the first one I tried. So it makes me think of the time I was a kid playing with every funlooking (and simple of course) game maker I could find - so It makes me feel nostalgic too :)

Any reason why you like XP most ?

I think RM2k3 (2003) is better than VX. Since you cannot import any new tilesets, only replacements. Since you can't do that, all the vx projects look the same. And VX's battle system sucks, it could atleast show the face graphics and a battleback. If the graphics weren't so neat in VX, it would be the worst rpg maker, exept 95. But 95 was the best and only of it's time.

I think XP is the best becouse of all the features. The things i miss in XP is a world map, vehicles, quick events, sideview battlesystem, dungeon generator and fullscreen. (i know you can press a button to use fullscreen, but the other rpg makers used fullscreen at once)

I think 2003 is the best RPG Maker.

Yeah, it's much better than VX.

I like VX. Mostly becouse it was the first RPG Maker i tried. But also, becouse it has nice and cute graphics and quick events.
